Eye-tracking techniques consist of analysing data based on the interpretation of the movement of the pupil and the time of gazing at moving or still images. These movements are recorded via an infrared camera. The analysis of these movements is then used as an interaction device by manufacturers to detect consumers’ interest in certain products. In the hands of artists, this type of device reconfirms for spectators’ their position as a unique observer. And what if a glance would become the creative force of an artwork? And what happens when it is the artwork that looks at us? And what then does our vision tell us about our interest in an artwork?<\/p>\n
