DANCE — DIGITAL ARTS — TRADITIONS

CREATION At the borders of magic, traditions and new technologies, while intersecting arts and sciences, Digital Voodoo invites spectators to discover traditional forms of expression in Voodoo culture of West Africa, as they are practised in Togo and Benin. By digitizing their myths, music, masks, costumes, choreography, the Fa oracle (a geomancy-based system of divination in the Voodoo religion), their spirits and temples, ‘Digital Voodoo’ brings Voodoo culture to the contemporary world through a ritual and globalising dance performance.

Mise en scène Nicolas Ticot — Chorégraphie et danse Vincent Harisdo — Composition musicale Nicolas Thevenet — Lumières Mustapha Delli — Décors Oumar Kone — Ethnologie et photographie Philippe Somnolet — Regard extérieur Jean-Paul Bouvet — Chargée de production Anne-Laure Goursaud — Développement Maxence Grugier

⇒ Meeting with the artists following the show — Thursday 01

 + EXPO
