Welcome to Artefact.<\/em> This new genre show invites us to enter, wearing a helmet, an ambulatory device, which combines optical theatre, 3D printing technology and robotics. Artefact inquires about into our in-depth nature and reveals a lot more than our mere relationship with objects. By playing with the codes of a classical performance, this show is both disturbing and frustrating by its bewitching and virtuoso mechanics. Are we actors, or mere spectators of what is unfolding in front of our eyes? Quoting Beckett or Shakespeare, Artefact uses theatre as a sensitive and timeless window open to the world that we are building and enquires about our irresistible impulse of creation. Are we going to withstand the tempting power of machines that we are building?<\/p>\n
