VOICE — SOUNDS — MUSIC Does listening to voices, sounds and music favour language development in infants?

The Babylab Languages project, based on research carried out by the singer Aurélie Maisonneuve articulates the presence of musicians and scientists who meet infants, families and cultural actors. What impact does music have on the development of language in a child’s mind? Three trios, three variations, serve as an echo to the singer’s creative approach. A moment of sensitivity to share as a family, listening as best one can to each of the sounds produced by the musicians using breathing, voice, strings, wood and skins. A moment suspended in time where all the spectators, in close proximity to the artists, witness the creation of the concert.

VARIATION 1 VARIATION 2 The musicians and researchers from the BABYLAB went to meet children from the child minder network in the La Capuche neighbourhood in Grenoble and the Marie Curie day care centre for young children.

Ce projet est à l’initiative de MEDIART et du BABYLAB LPNC.
