Welcome to Atelier Arts Sciences!

The Atelier Arts Sciences, an open-lab of joint research at Hexagone Scène Nationale Arts Sciences – Meylan and CEA, the main organiser of EXPERIMENTA, welcomes you with information and guides you during your visit. Throughout the three-day show, artists, scientists, technologists and manufacturers will share their experience of joint creative work in the forms of artistic devices, performances, workshops and symposia. The 6th EXPERIMENTA show tries to provide evidence that synergy between the latest technologies and artistic creation can yield to surprising, quirky inventions which at the same time, promise new uses of devices and techniques on stage as well as outside the realm of culture. Rich from six years of experience and situated in an exceptional area, the Atelier Arts Sciences is based at the Minatec campus, a key location ensuring daily contacts with the centre’s research and know-how. The Atelier Arts Sciences has held 36 residencies supporting artists from all areas and they continue to open up new synergies between the worlds of art and science.
