Bioresources: fertilizer for artists
Friday 7 October, 10.30 am (1 hour 15minutes)
MINATEC Amphitheatre
Free entry
Bioresources, natural, renewable and biodegradable ingredients present an alternative to currently available raw materials and energy resources. More and more firms and start-ups develop new applications to make better use of them, in particular in the fields of healthcare and energy (bioluminescent bacteria, water treatment, bio batteries…) Artists try to explore and prepare this new ground of opportunities. What could objects, cities and societies of the future, who use these bioresources be like? Furthermore, does the fact of exploiting living organisms raise new ethical issues?
