ORU
Maison MINATEC, Ground floor
ORU (‘to fold’ in Japanese) is a kinetic ceiling project linked to city data. It is a structure made of paper which responds according to citizens’ data in a city (electric consumption or public transport transits.) At the intersection of origami, big data and kinetic art, this project links innovation in material sciences and the use of flux of data, in an artistic way. The first stage of this work is presented as a prototype.
