Une tache sur l’aile du papillon (Spot on the butterfly’s wing)

For their next show with actors and puppets called ‘Une tache sur l’aile du papillon’, The Ches Panses Vertes theatre company is developing a digital puppet, which will be showcased at EXPERIMENTA. The story is about a psychotic child who keeps hallucinating of a soldier. The company presumes that this hallucination is embodied by a so-called digital puppet/screen. Between tracking and mapping, this localised and well-known puppet is manipulated live and is dressed in digital costumes projected on him and animated in 3D. The company attempts to embody this particular hallucination that a child has of a soldier, on a theatre stage.
