VIRTUAL REALITY – RITES – TRADITIONS – INTERACTIVITY – NEW TECHNOLOGIES

To create the opening show of the biennale, Nicolas Ticot worked with Vincent Harisdo choreographer and dancer in virtual reality. Digital Voodoo VR is the public realisation of these images.
Spectators will discover traditional forms of expression as well as elements of Voodoo in West Africa (Benin and Togo) integrated into Nicolas Ticot’s 3D graphic world. He uses the Unity video game, which allows spectators to interact with the images. Arts, technology and traditions; thousand-year old rites meet new technologies through a poetic process
