The diversity of the beginning of the web gave rise to the hegemony of a very small number of global corporations benefiting from the exploitation of personal data. Google, Apple, Facebook, Amazon. Today, our online life mainly evolves around services that a few platforms offer. This concentration generates real and multifaceted problems in terms of culture, politics, economics and technology. Communities of digital opponents have emerged to advocate for a different relation to digital tools. Reflecting the endeavour to re-appropriate our ways of production, a new concept was born; “technological sovereignty” forged by Margarita Padilla activist.
