Virtual reality headsets are widely used today in countless areas: games, video, theatre, cinema, clips, and so forth. How does this new technology disrupt our narrative processes? What type of new experience does this tool give to our audiences?  What sort of new perspectives or gestures can arise from this new technology? The performative dimension of these virtual visions yields to a necessity of regaining our ancestral narrative strategies. How does cinema draw on theatrical texts today in order to seize virtual reality?  How do video games impact on the ways these stories are brought to stage? How does theatre deal with the concept of virtual scenography? Using concrete examples, the round table will address these complex issues in detail capitalising on the expertise of researchers and artists who investigated this topic.

Come and view the movie show in mixed reality, Passage to the amphitheatre Maison Minatec.
