AUDIO VIRTUAL REALITY – SOUNDSPACE – SPATIAL SAMPLING – GESTURED VOICE RELATIONS

Memory Pallace is a collective audio sculpture, enabling visitors to offer audio souvenirs, then to recover and re-share them via a creative process. Initially, the Memory Palace was a mnemonic method formerly used in the Antiquity to memorise long lists of information by placing them in imaginary places, which was then be neglected during the Renaissance. As a metaphoric installation of this mnemonic technique, Memory Palace transforms the exhibition area: The physical space echoes the various souvenirs left by visitors, creating a time-based polyphony.
