Animated objects; are you connected?

Thursday 6 October at 2.00 pm (1 hour 15 minutes)
Amphithéâtre MINATEC
Free entry

At the wake of ubiquitous computing, connected objects have taken an ever increasing importance in our lives; they collect and analyse information, learn, communicate with each other, collaborate with us and sometimes give the impression of being real living creatures. They are also beginning to be used in theatre as props or stage equipment. What novel forms of interaction between the stage and the audience do these new genres of stage devices induce? What type of interactions between a ‘society of objects’ and humans can we foresee?
